Vivian Clara Kensmoe, 87, of Eau Claire, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Clairemont Nursing Home. \r\nShe was born in the Town of Clear Creek, Wisconsin on July 8, 1922, a daughter of Herman and Lydia (Hehl) Pehlke. \r\nVivian married Orlan Kensmoe on December 13, 1947, in Eau Claire. Orlan and Vivian then resided at Elk Lake, WI, all their married life. \r\nVivian loved to knit, sew, and was an avid bird watcher. \r\nShe was a charter member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.\r\nVivian is survived by her daughter, Julie Kensmoe of Eau Claire; brother, Myron (Loretta) Pehlke; sister, Marge Rindal; two brothers-in-law, Roger (Mary) Kensmoe, and Donald Ruff; four sisters-in-law, Elaine Kensmoe, Phyllis Grohn, Harriet Welke, and Emily (Irvin) Barby; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband and parents.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with the Rev. Donald Wisner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. \r\n
