Walter P, Goodman, 84, died Sunday, July 29, 2001 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation South in the town of Eagle Point, Chippewa County. He was born on June 30, 1917 in Milwaukee, to Harry and Catherine (Barre) Goodman, the third oldest of nine children. Walter married Virginia E. Redever on February 3, 1963 in Milwaukee. Walter was employed in Milwaukee with the Milwaukee Railroad as Roundhouse repairman. \r\nSurvivors include his wife, Virginia; a brother, Robert Goodman of Fox Lake; a sister, Margaret Goodman (Kiel) of Ft. Atkinson; and nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be at 9:45 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2001 at Tillinghast Cemetery in the town of Sampson with Pastor Jon Becker officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
