WANDA J. ENDER, 58, of 2517 Hallie Lane, died Thursday, October 1, 1998 at her home. She was born October 11, 1939 in Elmwood, WI, to Max and Marjorie (Phillips) Crownhart. Wanda graduated from River Falls High School, River Falls and then attended UW-Whitewater in Whitewater,WI. She served in the U.S. Army from 1960 until her honorable discharge in November, 1962. On October 9, 1965 Wanda married Eugene "Rich" Ender in Eau Claire. She was a Secretary for National Presto Industries and for Gould National Batteries until deciding to stay at home to raise her children.\r\nWanda was a member of Chapel Heights United Methodist Church, Eau Claire Women of the Moose Chapter #557, and a member of D.A.V. Chapter #10 where she was a Past Commander.\r\nSurvivors include her mother, Marjorie Wangen of Eau Claire; two sons, Daniel (Georgia) Crownhart and Richard (Heidi) Ender, both of Eau Claire; two step-sons, Brian Ender of Eau Claire, Steven Ender of Medford, OR; a step-daughter, Debbie (Joel) White of Medford, OR; eight grandchildren, Tiffani, Brandon, Timothy, Cody, Caleb, Amanda, Laura, and Emily; a brother, John "Martin"(Sue) Crownhart of Hudson; a sister, Jane (Scott) Parker of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Rich in 1997, and her father. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Chapel Heights United Methodist Church with Pastor Calvin W. Carey officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington, where V.F.W. Post #305 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Eau Claire Women of the Moose Chapter #557 will perform Moose Rites at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. \r\n
