WANDA A. PETERSON, 75, of Lake Eau Claire, formerly of Eau Claire, died Sunday, April 27, 1997 at her home. She was born January 15, 1922 to Borger and Hilda (Thronson) Hanson in the Town of Hallie,WI. Wanda graduated from Chippewa Falls High School with the class of 1939. On October 22, 1948, she married H.O. Peterson in Eau Claire. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Churchwhere she was active in Faith Circle. She was a member and currently the president of T.T.T. Survivors include her husband, H.O.; three sons, Brent (Susan) of Pittsburgh, PA, Kirk of Augusta, Todd (Cami) of Madison; a daughter, Kristie (Tom) Cousin of Augusta; four grandchildren, Chad Peterson, Anna and Molly Cousin, and Grace Peterson; a sister, Jean (Jim) Heike of Mondovi; three sisters-in-law, Alice M. Hanson, Josephine Peterson, and Margaret Peterson, all of Eau Claire; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Brenton; and three sisters,Eileen Monat, Thelma Gregory, and Vera Nelson.\r\nWanda will be remembered for the time she devoted to her children, grandchildren, and the rest of her tightly-knit family. She made the world's best lefse, and saw to it that the family continued her legacy. She made life long friends through golf, bridge, and other activities. \r\nFuneral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery, Town of Hallie. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.\r\nThe family requests memorials be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
