Warren E. Meisegeier, 84, of Eau Claire, died Sunday, February 5, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.\r\nWarren was born March 7, 1921, in Barron, WI, the son of Charlie and Rose (Welk) Meisegeier. He was raised and attended High School in Barron, WI.\r\nHe enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 22, 1942, and served his country until he was honorably discharged in September 11, 1945.\r\nHe owned and operated his own Dry Cleaning and Tailoring Business in Bruce, WI. After moving to Eau Claire, he worked for Muldoon's Men's Wear doing tailoring. He also worked at National Presto Industries and Sacred Heart Hospital in maintenance and was a courier until retirement.\r\nWarren married Jeanette Larson on January 17, 1970, in Stillwater, MN.\r\nHe loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and traveling. Warren was a great man who took pride in his family.\r\nWarren is survived by his wife Jeanette; a daughter, Diana Romer, of Minneapolis, MN; five stepchildren, Pamela Larson of Eau Claire, Randy Larson of Minneapolis, MN, Lorri (Dennis) Hellegers of Eau Claire, Joey Larson of Eau Claire, and Jeff (Beth) Larson of Milwaukee, WI; two granddaughters, Angie and Mickey; two great grand daughters, Shelly and Heather; five step grandchildren, Natalie and Nolan Hellegers of Eau Claire, Kyle William Larson of Eau Claire, and Jenna and Maggie Larson of Milwaukee\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and two sisters.\r\nHe was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 9, 2006, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark W. Schulz officiating. Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #53 will immediately follow the service. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. \r\n
