Obituary

Wilhelmina "Billie" J. (Wold) Mizomi, 93, of Eau Claire passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Syverson Lutheran Home. Billie was born in Stanley, Wisconsin on July 3, 1913, the daughter of William and Leila (Sharp) Hatfield.\r\nShe married Bert Wold in 1934. They later parted.\r\nBillie was a great cook and worked at various restaurants in Eau Claire and Milwaukee. \r\nShe married Walter Mizomi in 1963 in Milwaukee. In 1983, Billie moved back to Eau Claire to be near her family\r\nSurvivors include her two sons, George (Eileen) Wold of Rapid City, SD, and Cecil (Virginia) Wold of Eau Claire; her daughter, LaVonne Krueger of Altoona; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and seventeen great-great grandchildren.\r\nShe was also preceded in death by her parents; her husband Walter; four sisters, Edna Grill, Violet McBride, Doris Lee and Clara McKey; her brother, William Hatfield Jr.; son-in-law, Douglas Krueger; and granddaughter, Linda Wold.\r\nA family graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Debra Boynton officiating. Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral&Cremation Services is serving her family.\r\n
