Winnifred C. Bruden, 93, of Crystal, Minnesota and formerly of Eau Claire died Saturday, December 8, 2001 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. She was born on May 13, 1908 the daughter of Peter O. and Charlotte M. (Lenmark) Bruden in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Winnifred was an elementary school teacher for public schools in Mondovi and Kenosha.\r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include a sister, Gloria Newman of Golden Valley, MN; nieces and nephews, Nancy Newman, of Golden Valley, Peter (Kathy) Newman of Barron, WI, Roger (Phoebe) Newman of Roscoe, IL, Betty (Howard) Jordan of Mentor, OH , Phil (Marilyn) Bruden of Madison, WI, Harvey Daniel (Tricia) Spaulding of Caledonia, MI, Elizabeth Spaulding and Keith (Sue) Spaulding both of Frankenmuth, MI., and Richard Burden.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, and six brothers and sisters, Clifford, Alvin, Leola and Leslie Bruden, Gwendolyn Spaulding, and Phillip Bruden.\r\nA Memorial graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2002 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
