Obituary

Winnifred "Wynn" J. Heinzke, 78, of Eau Claire died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at her home. She was born in Eau Claire on March 7, 1928, the daughter of James and Hazel (Jacobson) Crooker.\r\nWynn married Theodore J. Heinzke in Eau Claire on September 6, 1948.\r\nWhile Ted was in the U.S. Air Force they lived throughout the United States and overseas.\r\nWynn worked 20 years at Valley Builders Hardware, retiring as office manger in 1987. After retirement, she was a volunteer for 8 years with the American Red Cross providing disaster relief throughout the country.\r\nShe was a member of Hope Lutheran Church\r\nWynn is survived by her two sons, James (Debra) Heinzke of Hazelwood, MO, and their daughters, Laura and Anita; Theodore J. "Jack" (Bonnie Chavez) Heinzke II and his daughter Jaclyn; her brother, Ron (Corrine) Crooker of Sun City, AZ; sister Judy (Rick) Rau of Cyrus, MN; a niece and six nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Theodore.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006, at Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Randy Olson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the town of Washington. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
