Winnifred P. Sund, 77, Eau Claire, died Sunday, November 11, 2001 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 25, 1924 in Chippewa Falls, WI, to Henry and Hazel (Collins) Peloquin. She married Kenneth A. Sund on December 19, 1953 in Eau Claire. He died on November 30, 1988.\r\n Winnie was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anyone who crossed her path will never forget her. She was so unique, with such a big heart for everyone. \r\nShe is survived by two sons, James J. (Cookie) Johnson of Chippewa Falls and Wayne W. (Jane) Hopp of Eau Claire; one daughter, Winnifred J. (Roger) Jergenson of La Crosse; a step-son, Allen (Bonnie) Sund of Westminster, CA; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; her sister, Blanche Krohn of Chippewa Falls and a sister-in-law, Harriet Anderson of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; a grandchild, Christopher Hopp and her stepfather, Rudolph Luhman.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 15, 2001 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Private interment will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to time of services Thursday at the funeral home. \r\nA special thanks to the 3rd floor nurses at Luther Hospital and Northwest Wisconsin Homecare Hospice. \r\nMemorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
