Wynne Ann Diskin, 76, of Altoona, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Luther Hospital.\r\nShe was born in New York, New York on June 2, 1933, a daughter of John and Marion (Lynch) Diskin.\r\nShe resided for most of her youth and young adulthood in White Plains, NY. She lived in many places along the East Coast before moving to Wisconsin approximately thirty years ago.\r\nWynne was a kind and generous person with a good sense of humor. She loved her family, and she will be remembered with the same loving thoughts by her many cousins still residing in New York and various East Coast cities.\r\nPrayers for the repose of her soul are requested.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents. \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Golden Acres II apartments, 138 10th St. W., Altoona with Monsignor Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be at a later date in New York.
