Casey Alan Anderson, 61, of Elk Mound, passed away peacefully of Eastern Equine Encephalitis with his wife by his side on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Eau Claire.
He was born August 23, 1960, to Robert and Midge (Mason) Anderson in Duluth, MN. On August 4th, 1995 Casey was joined in marriage to Denise Howe in Superior, WI.
Casey recently retired after 35 years as executive chef at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club. He was a devoted father to his daughters and a beloved Papa to his grandchildren. He had a great love for the outdoors, enjoyed spending time at the land on his tractor, and his favorite time of year was hunting season. Casey maintained a positive attitude, great sense of humor and loved a good joke or prank.
He is survived by his wife, Denise; daughters, Destiny and Deja (Michael); grandchildren, Vivian, Vincent and another one on the way; his mother, Midge; sisters, Carrie (Jerry), Dawn (Todd) and Tami (Tim); mother-in-law, Faylene; sisters-in-law, Sue and Danita; brothers-in-laws, Steve (Lori), Jerry, Jeff and Lenny; and many other loving family and friends. Casey is preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Robert; nephew, Jesse; and father-in-law, Glen Howe.

A celebration of Casey's life will take place on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 2-7pm at Eau Claire Golf and Country Club, 828 Club View Lane, Altoona, WI 54720. Per CDC guidelines, we ask that both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals wear masks.
A scholarship for Culinary Arts will be designated in Casey's honor at a later date or memorials can be made to a charity of one's choice.
