Dorothy H. Berg, 84, of 522 1/2 Union Street died Sunday, March 31, 1995 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born February 11, 1912 in Manitowoc County to Monroe and Sophie (Hanson) Halverson. Dorothy married Ebbe Berg of Trondheim, Norway, in Milwaukee in March of 1940. They lived briefly in Milwaukee and Provo, Utah and settled in Menasha. There was much visiting between families in Norway, Menasha and then in Eau Claire.\r\nDorothy was active in the Congregational United Church of Christ in Neenah-Menasha. She was a real estate salesman from 1970-78 and was assistant treasurer of the Town of Menasha for 28 years. She lived in Eau Claire since June 1990 and was a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ.\r\nSurvivors include a son, Rolf (Linda Yelicich) of Ann Arbor, MI; three daughters, Randi (Brian) Johnson of Eau Claire, Kirsten (John) Kingdon of Washington D.C. and Greta (Rich Brown) Berg of St. Paul, MN; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Gordon (Jackie) Halverson of Grinnell, IA; three sisters, Edith (Allen)White Pullman, WA , Vera (Claire) Hagadorn of Marshall, MI, and Shirley Halverson Gorder of Newton, WI. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband in March 1984 and a brother, Chester Halverson of Neenah.\r\nMemorial Services will be at 11 A.M. Wednesday at Plymouth United Church of Christ with Pastor John Wreford officiating. Burial will be in Gjerpen Cemetery, Valders, WI.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: The Fellowship of Reconciliation, c/o Greta Berg, 1258 Van Buren Ave., St. Paul, MN, 55104.
