Henry Pheifer Obituary

Henry Thomas Pheifer, 81, of Eau Claire, passed away on December 25th 2021 in Eau Claire, WI.

Tom was born in Wausau, WI to Lorraine and Henry Pheifer on April 17th 1940. He went to school at Edgar, WI. He married Carol Ohlendorf on January 30th 1965 in Dwight, IL. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He worked in management for Uniroyal for 25 years. He played football for UWEC as well as YMCA men's league basketball and Eau Claire men's slow pitch softball. Tom also volunteered as an assistant coach for Regis football and on the board for the Eau Claire Cavaliers. He enjoyed watching sports, woodworking, was an avid reader and spending time at his cabin with family.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents Lorraine and Henry Pheifer as well as his sister Faye Jensen.

Tom is survived by his wife Carol, his daughters Sonja (Don) Doughty, Jennifer (Jason) Stamm, brother Scott Pheifer; grandchildren Josh, Kaitlin, Hanna, Rebecca, Emma, Grace and Henry; great-grandchildren Louie and Annabelle.

Funeral services will be held on January 8th at Lenmark Funeral Home for his immediate family.
