March 13, 1977 ~ December 13, 2023 (age 46) 46 Years Old
Jeremy Wade Larsen, 46, of Eau Claire passed away December 13, 2023. Son of John and Margie (Folkedahl) Larsen, he was born March 13, 1977 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
He graduated from Memorial High School in 1996. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. He had been residing at a group home for several years and was employed at the Career Development Center.
Jeremy enjoyed reading books and was always eager to learn new things. He loved animals and had several pets over the years including dogs, a cat, hermit crabs, fish, gerbils and a lizard. When he was young, he loved dinosaurs. He had beautiful penmanship and enjoyed drawing pictures. Jeremy had a quirky sense of humor. He had many good friends at the Career Development Center and at his group home. Routines were very important to him. He liked getting a chai at the BAM Book Store and visiting with his family while there.
Jeremy is survived by his parents and a brother, Robert Larsen of San Diego, California. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Beverly and Dan Buss of Menomonie; Joan Behling of Menomonie; Cindy Larsen of Port Wentworth, Georgia; Janice and Jim Schuh of Evansville WI; Wanda Folkedahl of Shoreview, MN and 14 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Marie Folkedahl, paternal grandparents Robert and Lorraine Larsen; two aunts, Lynette Folkedahl, and Georgia Larsen and three uncles, Steven Larsen, Rodney Larsen and DeWayne Behling.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, December 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd., Eau Claire. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church.
