Kha Vang Lor passed away on February 5, 2019 at age 67. All the days of her life, she pursued righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness with a driven passion for sewing and gardening. She pursued these gifts of the spirit as she fled from Laos, rested in Thailand, and fought furiously to be united with her parents in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Kha flourished with a given purpose to remain faithful and pure as a young widow at the age of 29. Putting her faith into practice and working hard, she dedicated her life to caring for her daughter Kao Moua Her (Paul Her), her family, and her grandchildren (Megan, Shiann, Riley, and Alaina). Kha’s legacy is her family’s love of the Lord and of each other. She loved genuinely and was genuinely loved in return by all who knew her. The celebration of Kha Vang Lor’s love, legacy, and final journey to heaven will take place from 8 am to 10 pm, on Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24 at the WEST CHAPEL of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Avenue in Eau Claire. She will be put to rest next to her parents at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
