Marion Young

Marion R. Young, 71, of 2340 Moholt Drive died Wednesday, October 4, 1995 at Sacred Heart Hospital.\r\nMarion was born March 8, 1924 in Eau Claire to Ralph and Loren (Watson) Hestekin. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1942. Marion married Walter J. Young on July 28, 1953 in Aberdeen,SD.\r\nShe was charter member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd as well as a member of the Women's Auxiliary of VFW Post # 305.\r\nMarion enjoyed her many trips with her family to their place at the lake, looking forward to those opportunities to fish and share their fishing stories. Survivors include her husband, Walter; a son, James of Eau Claire; two brothers, Ralph (Kay) Hestekin of Chetek and Arthur Hestekin of West Bend; many nieces and nephews.\r\nMarion was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lillian Hencley.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 A.M. Saturday at Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd with Pastors John E. Hosmann and Cynthia A. Crane officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.\r\nFriends are invited to call 4 to 8 P.M. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the Church..
