Mary L. Buskavitz

Mary L. Buskavitz, 102, of Eau Claire, passed away on January 2, 2017, at home. Mary was born February 8, 1914, in Jessup, PA, a daughter of Joseph and Pelagia (Jawna) Lilik. She was a loving mother of five children. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, and collecting recipes books. Her most enjoyed memory was cooking her special Ukrainian foods. She is survived by her daughters, Eleanor Walter and Marion (John) Morgan; and one son, Thomas (Diane) Buskavitz; grandchildren, Mary Ellen (Greg), Sarah (John), Josh, Rachel (Andy), Jessie (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jacob, Henry, Simon, Roman, and Ella Marie. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; and her sons, Edwin and John. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1712 Highland Ave, Eau Claire, with Father Donald Meuret officiating. Visitation will from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 W. Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire, with a Rosary Vigil at 3:45. Visitation will also be one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Eau Claire. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
