Nancy Jean (Zillmer) Westmoreland

Nancy Jean (Zillmer) Westmoreland died peacefully in HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI surrounded by love on October 18th, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was 76 years old.

Nancy was born in Eau Claire, WI to Roy F. Zillmer and Marcella (Kruger) Zillmer. She graduated from Memorial High School in 1965. In 1973 Nancy gave birth to her only child Danielle Westmoreland.

Nancy had a strong love and faith for her church, spending time with family and friends, music, and thoroughly enjoyed traveling the country with her life partner Mike Maresh.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Danielle Westmoreland, brother Roy E. Zillmer, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. However, will be missed by many family, friends as well.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Roy F. Zillmer and Marcelle (Kruger) Zillmer; life partner, Mike Maresh and sister, Ruth Ann.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at SHSH Sacred Heart Hospital, The Mayo Cancer Team and Lenmark Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30am Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at St. James the Greater Parish, 2502 11th Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703 with Father John Schultz officiating. Visitation will be on hour prior to the Mass at the church. A luncheon will directly follow. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Nancy's life.
