Rosalie "Rose" Diana Rosman

Rosalie "Rose" Diana Rosman, 81, went home to her Heavenly Father on September 22, 2023.

Rosalie was born May 1, 1942 to Wayne and Velma (Urness) Rosman in German Valley, Mondovi, WI at her home.

Rosalie graduated from Mondovi High School in 1960. After the family moved to Eau Claire, WI, she attended Vocational School on First Ave. in Eau Claire for 2 years. After graduating she had an interview at New York Life Insurance in downtown Eau Claire. During the interview she was liked and started employment that very moment. After 33 years of working for New York Life Insurance the Eau Claire office was downsized and thus Rosalie was done. A lovely party was given for her. It was a surprise party.

Instead of Rosalie looking for other employment she decided to stay home and be the caregiver for our mom who lived with her. Rosalie took our mom out every day somewhere.

After 7 years of numerous falls and trying to get an answer why on March 27, 2023 she was diagnosed with Vascular Parkinsons.

Two and a half years ago Rosalie moved to Heritage Assisted Living in Eau Claire. Rosalie was independent until a month and a half ago.

Rosalie was very genuine. She was loving, caring and compassionate to all. She always put others before herself. She loved to talk to everyone. The meaning of her name Rose is "Giver of Love" which fit her very well.

Rosalie was a member of Saving Grace Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, WI.

Rosalie is survived by her brother, LeRoy Rosman: sister, Geraldine "Gerri" (Kenneth) Schulner both of Eau Claire, WI; nieces, Elizabeth (Roger) Gallup, Kathleen (Wayne) Dean and Stephanie Atter; great nieces and nephews and several cousins.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Velma Rosman; baby sister Rosman, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Words cannot express the appreciation and thankfulness to all the staff at Heritage Assisted Living and St. Croix Hospice for the loving care they gave to my sister and very best friend.
