Margaret Bosier Obituary

Margaret Mary (Gallagher) Bosier, 95, of Eau Claire, departed to Heaven on September 14, 2016 from Sacred Heart Hospital. Margaret was born on July 19, 1921, in Benson, MN, a daughter to Patrick and Della (Roesler) Gallgaher. She married Harry W. “Bill” Bosier on July 12, 1945 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Besides sharing the same birthday and birth year, they shared many memories raising 6 children together. She enjoyed playing bridge, cooking, golfing and shopping. She loved to fish and spend summers in Hayward, WI. Margaret was an exceptionally devout Catholic, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, an avid reader, and she liked to spend winters in Tucson, Az. Aside from being a homemaker, she worked at Presto Industries during the Viet Nam War and she ran her own business, Comfort Bay, on Water Street. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Keith) Hallum and Peggy (Charles) Hutchinson, both of Eau Claire; four sons, Bill (Erika) of Azusa, Calif., Mike (Tracy Chartrand) of Eau Claire, Bob of Los Angeles, Calif., and Tim of Sheboygan, WI; brothers, William Gallagher and Marty Gallagher; grandchildren, Ryan Hallum, Shawn Nash, Jennifer (Byran) Jones, Patrick (Amber) Kirchoff, Nathan (fiancé Koreen Greenow) Holmes, Lindsey (Courtney) Gatlin, Evonna Kraus; eight great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers, Buddy and John; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 416 N. Dewey Street, with Father George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in St. Patrick’s Cemetery on Omaha Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
