Patricia Starr Weizenegger

Patricia Starr Weizenegger, 92, of Eau Claire, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015, at her home in Eau Claire after a long illness. Pat was born in Eau Claire, on March 13, 1923, to Ted and Mae (Ranes) Meyer. Pat married Richard E. Weizenegger Sr. at St. Patrick’s Church in Eau Claire, on March 4, 1944. Through the years, Pat worked at Samuelsson’s Dept. Store, The Band Box, Uniroyal Tire Co. and for many years as a Ward Secretary at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. Pat is survived by her son, Richard E. (Muffett) Weizenegger of Evergreen, CO; three granddaughters, Kjersti (Michael) Timmons of Eastvale, CA, Katie (Marty) Golden of Ballantine, MT, and Margaret Parks of Littleton, CO; and also by six great-grandchildren, Charlotte Timmons, Maizy and Decklin Golden, Piper, Finley and Bennett Parks. Pat is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; infant daughter, Roxanne; and step-father, Adolph Ackerlund. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Avenue in Eau Claire. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Eau Claire Humane Association, 3900 Old Town Hall Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701, or First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54703. .
